It stores the main salt supply inside and allows for the cap to inverted and rest securely, providing a smaller amount of salt needed for the dinner table or cooking. No need to contaminate your entire salt supply! Simply toss out the un-used amount when done and place the top back on. Made in Raw clay with a White Speckled Glaze.
